Can I buy more than one Cider Passport?
Can I buy more than one Cider Passport? No, the Cider Passport is limited to one per person to ensure everyone gets the full experience.
How do I get my Cider Passport?
We will review all purchases by Thursday, 17th October at 6pm when you will get an email confirming everything. Your Cider Passport will be available in the Towpather Rewards app starting Friday, midday.
Is there parking available?
We don’t have a dedicated car park, but there’s plenty of on-street parking in Gilwern. Additionally, there are around 60 spaces on Station Road, just a 30-meter walk over the canal, on the pavement from the pub.

Is the kids' apple juice really free? Yes! If you purchase a Cider Passport, we’ll make sure the kids get free apple juice while you’re enjoying the festival.
What do I get for my £14?
You’ll get a half pint of each of the 14 ciders featured in the festival, plus a commemorative Gwynt y Ddraig glass to take home.
Can I share a passport?
Can I share a passport? Yes, you're welcome to share a Cider Passport between friends! Try all the ciders, find your favourite, and then grab a full pint of the one you love most.
What if the cider I want runs out?
Ciders are available while stocks last. If your preferred cider runs out, we’ll offer you an alternative. Don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of great options!
What kind of food is available during the festival?
Our regular pizza menu will be available, including New York-style, Detroit-style, and garlic bread. Plus, we’ll have our famous Detroit slice bar for those peckish moments throughout the weekend.
Can I come if I don’t like cider?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to enjoy our usual bar menu and fantastic pizza, even if cider’s not your thing.
Is there live music?
Is there live music? Yes! We’ve got Jim Ramsey playing on Saturday from 2:30pm and Wishful Slim on Sunday from 2:30pm.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we’re dog-friendly! Your furry friends are welcome to join you during the festival.
What if I can't attend all 3 days?
No worries! Your Cider Passport is valid for the entire festival from Friday through Sunday, so you can pop in whenever it suits you.
How do I redeem my £50 Pizza, Cocktail, and Spritz voucher?
Once you’ve purchased your voucher, it’ll be sent directly to your email. You can redeem it anytime over the festival weekend.
